Southeast Asia Style Hotel is a resort complex in Sihanoukville, Cambodia that includes bungalows, restaurants, spa, beach club and all other facilities used at a tropical resort.

Bamboo and other natural materials are used in our design throughout the entire complex. By the same token, we minimized the usage of industrialized materials to ensure the artefacts harmonize with the beautiful surrounding nature of the tropical jungle and river that connect to the ocean.

The reception hall is situated at the end of an access road, next to a car park used by the whole resort complex. The building^s footprint was carefully designed not to disturb or distract the original nature already there. The building is composed of a bamboo-structure roof and ceiling over reinforced concrete columns. A lighting system was installed behind the louver-like bamboo ceiling, as well as skylights for gravity ventilation on the apex.

The restaurant and bungalows are pure bamboo structures built on a concrete foundation that floats on the river, while the spa is a combination of bamboo interior decoration and thin concrete shell structure. Here, VTN Architects developed various forms of bamboo structures by using different methods to create an eco-friendly atmosphere for this luxury resort.
